A critique names a target and takes it on.

Each critique states:

  • its target — author, paper, claim, or framework,
  • the specific move being challenged,
  • the falsification conditions for the critique itself,
  • the stake — what would be lost if the target argument held.

Written because a claim is circulating and is not carrying its weight. Not written in anger. Written because the field will be better if the challenge is made precisely.
