A critique names a target and takes it on.
Each critique states:
- its target — author, paper, claim, or framework,
- the specific move being challenged,
- the falsification conditions for the critique itself,
- the stake — what would be lost if the target argument held.
Written because a claim is circulating and is not carrying its weight. Not written in anger. Written because the field will be better if the challenge is made precisely.
